Network Engagement Reflection

Reflection

Working through this project of network engagement open the door to connecting the individual to the collective in order to employ action and create awareness. Working on the order Ending the Mental Illness Stigma through orality using literacy to navigate on various platforms. Reflecting on this task the experience promoted a new perspective for me to engage in the media network. From various aspects of this process I was driven to individually work in the collective output on this issue and think critically of engaging the network community. In multiple ways I have occupied a space in the network medium however doing so from this angle was a new challenge I had yet to fulfill. In working through this stage as an EmerAgency consultant I found most of working became in developing new ways of sending messages that they are creatively received by engagers. In doing so I found that working as an individual in the collective there is means to need to be aware of the other individuals as the collective. There was a need to stay in tune with the purpose of the output and remain individual from other individuals. While this did come as a challenge in itself finding ways to express message in order to stir participatory engagement on the topic of Mental Illness Stigma. Using literary information gained from on the issues of relating messages and building awareness. It was necessary to consider the content of posts as well the connection amongst these posts on our group site. The importance being that the messages connect while the content was unique and original. On focusing on these message the task became planting the seed in the network in order to promote engagement on the issue. As an individual in this collective group in this network community the goal remained to saturate the space with ideas, thoughts and messages the would instill power in members to circulate as well. While as an individual and collective the work was to promote internet action and civic participation the means of bring awareness and calling for engagement were the outputs for doing so. In the apparatus of the network community putting my previous experience on the network into these efforts was to create a sense of concern and a need to engage in this issue. While doing so the collective group sought the importance of seeking participation on the platform of our group messages. Reflecting on this, by asking the members to comment, think, do, it essentially weeding out those who wish the go against this saturation. Ultimately, this project essential enabled me to think on new platforms and actively participate in new network cultures.
